Recovering deleted files or file names
I used to have such a big collection of all my old porn scenes in 1080p and I deleted them about a year or so ago now. I want to recover some if not all of them, or at the very least, all the file names so I know exactly what was in that collection.
Is there a way I can do this on my Mac? I know it's been a long time and it may all be long gone now, but I am fine with just the names of the files. I know exactly where they were saved and everything.

When you put files in the Trash, and empty it, those files actually remain on your hard drive, but your OS would now consider the actual physical space on the disk that they occupied as available to be overwritten with new files.
Given that your deletions occurred a long time ago, it is highly unlikely that any of those files are still recoverable in their original state: some scraps or portions my survive, but it is almost certain that the scenes themselves are kaput...
Next time back up your material if you need to make space.

You could try out of these apps;
Prosoft Data Rescue
R-Studio for Mac
Recuva For Mac
But like alexora said, chances are highly unlikely. And if it's a SSD, there's even less of a chance at any recovery.
But do give the programs listed above a shot. You might get lucky. Good Luck!
